Un Si Grand Soleil: “Flore’s arrival will weaken the Alain-Elizabeth couple”, reveals Christel Labeau

Allocine: Going back to the beginning of the Un si grand soleil adventure, what did you like about Elizabeth?

Christel Labaud : his bad faith. I have a lot of fun playing. And at the same time, he is relatively sincere and honest. It has a small thin and which sometimes exceeds seasonal norms. I like characters that have many colors.

Then I had this offer to play with Jeremy Banster, who I auditioned for. We got along very well. When I left I said to myself “I would love to do this character“And I’m doing it in a way that I’m excited about.

Over the seasons, Elizabeth has developed as one of the main characters of Un si grand soleil…

It is an interesting game. He is not bad. He just has a bad temper. It hurts, it’s bloody, it’s brittle. I don’t think he has a bad past. He still has weaknesses. He also had small cracks at the arch of Hugh Anselin, after the departure of his son. He is a beautiful character.

Alain and Elizabeth’s little life is turned upside down by the arrival of Flora and Tiago, Dr. Alfandi’s daughter and grandson. What will it be like to live with all these little people?

It will go well at first and then it will definitely get worse. Flora is without embarrassment. This will not go well at all, but it will also lead to some pretty funny scenes. It will add some spice to this rather cozy couple. It will be a big mess.

I’m so happy that Frederik van den Driesche finally has an ark dedicated to his character. It is very nice to play with him. This is really awesome. It’s what opens up his character to other adventures, and that’s a good thing.

Is the Elizabeth-Allen couple in danger?

Flor’s arrival will surely weaken him as Allen takes a bigger stance towards his daughter. He slips the braids a little and Elizabeth takes it pretty badly. He is regarded as bad as long as he maintains complete integrity. Besides, he’s not entirely wrong about what’s going to happen. She is still Flore (laughs) and very intrusive. With Elizabeth’s character, it won’t last long.

As the series demands, one can’t help but think that Flore isn’t just there to meet her father. In particular, he quit his job to come to Montpellier, which is strange. Are we right to be careful?

No, you should not doubt it. He comes to see his father with all honesty. Flor just gets on Elizabeth’s nerves (laughs).

Is Tiago’s arrival an opportunity to recreate the family unit around Elisabeth?

I don’t know because this family unit is going to blow up fast. Flor and Tiago are not going to stay with Elizabeth for long. There will always be a bond between Allen and his daughter, but Elizabeth won’t be so much a part of the landscape. And when he’s part of it, it’s going to be putting his two cents in on stories that have absolutely nothing to do with him. And it will definitely be lost very quickly.

I think in the end, Elizabeth doesn’t like not being the favorite anymore. I think she should always be cute, at least in her relationship. And there, it won’t necessarily happen that way.

This arch was also an opportunity to discover that Elizabeth was friends with Catherine Laumier (Smaddy Wolfman). What can you tell us about this friendship?

Catherine and Elizabeth are obviously longtime friends. It turns out that Francois is Laumier’s wife, so she will interfere a little in her husband’s affairs. But there can be some problems here too.

Speaking of the Laumiere clan, Elisabeth recently hired Boris (Jules Bahloul) in L. Cosmetics. What will their collaboration be like?

He is a good recruit. He has the same character as his father, that is, he has teeth on the floor. He is a liar, so Elizabeth is interested in having such a boy in her ranks. However, the somewhat intrusive side that Boris will have when making decisions does not sit well with Elizabeth.
