All are mobilized for Bastien

After learning that he is compatible with Bastien, Diego decides to perform a bone marrow aspiration to save him. If he is scared about the surgery and afraid of complications, Chloe is there to reassure him. He even drew on his old medical lessons to demonstrate what bone marrow aspiration actually entails.

At the hospital, Benjamin tells Bastien that his donor will be arriving soon and that his transplant will take place immediately. Relieved by the news, Bastien still can’t help but worry about his father, who is still missing and in danger of becoming infected if he doesn’t seek treatment quickly. Benjamin assures him that John will eventually return, it’s time to prove his innocence.

Benjamin is then summoned by Mariana, who states that Diego cannot perform the operation. In fact, he is a minor and neither Alexander nor Chloe have parental authority over him. However, Benjamin pushes his boss to solve this administrative problem in order to save the patient.

Benjamin’s testimony at the police station planted doubt in Sarah’s mind. She thinks that John may be innocent and that someone else is guilty of Mr. Flement’s murder. So the young woman puts forward her arguments against Martin: John never forgot to pay the monthly lifetime fees, even if he asked for a postponement, and above all, he proved himself to be methodical by stealing equipment from the hospital, so Sarah thinks he wouldn’t. They did not leave the murder weapon. Martin allows digging.

In the hospital, Violet stands by Bastien’s bed. When the latter begins to despair of survival, Diego also comes with him. He informs that the procedure is delayed due to an administrative problem, but everyone is working to resolve it. He urges Bastien not to give up.

Later at the police station, Martin asks where Sarah is as the prosecutor puts pressure on him. Unfortunately, Sarah couldn’t find anything about John that would fully justify him. On the other hand, he noted an odd element in Flament’s autopsy report. The latter had a hematoma on his shoulder that dates back to a few days before his death. If Martin believes that John and Flement fought before the murder, Sarah thinks that it is impossible. Contacting the correctional facility of the prison where John was incarcerated, he received confirmation that he was not a violent man. But all this is not enough to convince Martin, who continues to be John’s prime suspect.

At the hospital, Chloe reveals to Mariana that the judge who will decide on Bastien’s transplant is a former classmate of Sebastien’s. So he encourages his mother, who also knows him, to use her connections to get to the judge. Mariana, who is not on very good terms with Sebastian, hesitates. But even Renault pushes him to act for a good cause.

So Mariana goes to Sebastian’s office to convince the judge to give Bastien’s transplant a favorable opinion with Diego as the donor. Although Sebastian tries to buy time with Mariana, he remains focused on her goal. He makes sure Sebastian calls the judge while he’s in the office.

In the evening, Mariana returns to the hospital and finds Benjamin in Bastien’s room. The latter was transferred to chemotherapy. Marian then tells Benjamin that the judge is allowing the transplant. However, he needs Bastien’s ID to complete his case. Benjamin searches the drawer of the young man’s bedside table and thinks he will find it. Then he comes across a note written by John. As he reads, he realizes that his friend has cheated him…

Sylvain and Gerald sympathize

At the Christmas market, Sylvain replaces Chloe at the oyster stand. Nathan comes to meet her. Sylvain then asks to taste his mulled wine. According to him, you should always test the goods you are selling in order to sell them.

A little later, Sylvain returns to Nathan’s food truck to pick up gingerbread. As Gerald approaches them, Nathan advises Sylvain not to stay with him too long. However, the flow goes very well between the two men as they sit down to wine and oysters.

After which Sylvain visits Gerald’s stand. The latter presents him with his products and assures him of a 10% discount. Sylvain gives in to temptation and buys a hiking kit.

At the end of the day, Sylvain returns baskets of oysters to him in hiking pants. When Alexander sees him dressed like that, he laughs at him.

Victor and Timothy reconciled

In turn, Timothee goes to the police station to thank Manon. He tells her that he followed her advice to reconcile with his father.

Later, Violet visits the vineyards with her mother. They meet Timothy, who briefly greets the Philippines before leaving. Violet is very surprised by his behavior, because the young man completely ignored her. Filipina assures her that she shouldn’t take it personally and confides in her daughter that Timothy is autistic.

In the evening, Victor and Timothy meet for dinner at Spoon. Victor thanks his son for the USB key he gave him the other day. This included a famous report on the optimization of compensation in the field. Therefore, Victor promises Timothy that he will leave him alone and will not force him to resume his studies.
