The actor lends his voice to the voice of the iconic Toy Story character in a new film.

Lightyear came out in theaters with a mixture of nostalgia and curiosity. With the Tot Story legacy as a backdrop, the premise was to bring Andy’s famous “favorite movie” to theaters, which made Buzz one of his favorite toys.
However, don’t think that the film just fills children’s eyes, because that’s not quite the case. With an edgy script, which carries numerous references to pop culture, such as Interstellar, the film manages to tackle more solid themes and makes us think about more points.
In an interview, Chris Evans, who lends his voice to the policeman, shared which part of the project thrilled him the most.
“The Buzz we know is obviously a toy. From there, it can move more freely and without the burdens most of us carry. The toy doesn’t have to worry about problems like illness, for example. However, in human life, there are consequences from the choices we make, so it’s interesting that Buzz experiences this reality, “he said.
Additionally, the actor shared his relationship with the character before becoming the voice of Buzz.
“I loved Toy Story. When the movie came out, it was kind of a new perspective and a break with old patterns. So I was very excited when I found out I had more stories to tell, “he said.” And if I could choose another Disney character to play, I think I’d choose Robin Hood, from the old Disney animation. “
Taika Waititi, who provides Mo’s voice, also spoke about her relationship with the character.
“I think Mo reminds me of myself a few years ago. He tries to focus on something and I was like that: I was interested in a million things at the same time and I tried to do everything at the same time, but I didn’t finish anything. This was something I only learned years later. So it was easy to play myself in the character, as I am a person who works too much and at the same time never wants to work in my life again. There are two sides of me that are in constant conflict ”.
With a resume that includes Captain America and Buzz, Chris Evans has revealed which of the two big character jokes is his favorite.
“Impossible to choose! After all, “to infinity and beyond” was a phrase I knew long before “Avengers, assemble” and it already had enormous meaning for me, “he said.” But even though I feel honored to play this role and be part of this universe, that phrase belongs to someone else. It’s almost like I borrowed someone else’s clothes, you know? So I did what I could to honor and do my way. However, to be honest, this quote it’s from Tim Allen and the Avengers grid that I was the first to mention. “
Lightyear is already showing in cinemas across Brazil.
