Confirmed for Brazil, the new Chinese company expands globally. The goal is to sell 1.4 million units worldwide by 2030
Omoda Jaecoo – a new Chinese carmaker combining Chery’s two brands – is expanding globally. It sold 12,100 vehicles in November and has already sold 134,000 units this year. The numbers do not include sales in the Chinese market, the largest in the world.
Already confirmed for Brazil, despite the agreement between Caoa and Chery, the new company Omoda Jaecco intends to reach 1.4 million units sold outside China by the end of 2030.
Officially launched in April this year, during the Shanghai Motor Show, Omoda Jaecoo will reach more than 30 countries with the Omoda brand and more than 10 with Jaecoo by the end of 2024. To date, Omoda is present in South Africa, Australia, Qatar, Indonesia, Kuwait, Mexico and Russia. Jaecoo has started operations in Russia.

In November, Omoda confirmed its arrival in new markets in Asia Pacific, Central America and South America. Furthermore, the brand launched the Omoda C5 GT in South Africa, presented the E5 in Malaysia and brought together the Chilean press to the official launch of the brand.
In Brazil the company has already confirmed the debut of the two brands in 2024 with three models that will arrive on the market in different versions. There will be two Jaecoo models and one Omoda.
According to the company, its vehicles will be more sustainable, with high safety, innovative design and cutting-edge technologies. In November, Omoda Jaecco won the awards for “Best Crossover\Mid-Size SUV” and “Best 5-seater SUV ”. In Malaysia.
