The plane crashes into the ocean, and the surviving passengers and crew find themselves trapped in the deep sea, a rapidly shrinking air pocket. Just at this moment, giant sharks arrive, determined to try humans. This is the unwanted pitch for the English disaster film No Way Up.
Directed by Claudio Fahey, to whom we already owe the B-movies Hollow man 2, Sniper 4 and 7 and Beyond Valkyrie: Dawn Of The 4th Reich, the feature film is directed by Colm Meaney (Gangs of London), Phyllis Logan (Downton Abbey). ), Sophie Mackintosh (The Last Girl) and Will Attenborough (Dunkirk).
A release date has yet to be announced, but the feature film will hit “screens” in 2024, according to a recent tweet from production company Altitude Film Sales.

A second movie with sharks and airplanes is planned
This shark movie is not to be confused with Deep Water, another thriller project that combines planes and sharks.
Last May, we reported that Rennie Harlin, director of Blue Fear and Cliffhanger, was set to direct a survival thriller in which a plane en route from Los Angeles to Shanghai is forced to make an emergency landing in shark-infested waters. Then the passengers find themselves between a sunken plane and terrifying sharks.
So get ready to see not one, but two feature films with sharks on a plane. Movies are not recommended for people with claustrophobia, aerophobia, scalophobia and aquaphobia!
