Rated 4.1 out of 5 This unfairly overlooked DC Comics series is coming to Season 4!

he is back! Harley Quinn, the Joker’s sidekick and iconic villain in the DC Comics universe, returns for the fourth season of her own series.

Of course, it’s not the Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie, nor the Lady Gaga we’ll find in Joker 2, but an alternate animated version (played by Kaley Cuoco in the original).

In this dynamic and uncompromising series, we follow Harley, completely freed from the Joker, as she struggles to find her place in the ruthless world of Gotham City’s villains.

To do this, the young woman befriends Pamela Isley (aka Poison Ivy) to form her own group of supervillains: King Shark, Frank the Plant, Doctor Psycho and even Clayface.

This series, which does not fit into the chronology of the Snyderverse or the James Gunn-initiated reboot, was created as a pastiche of DC Comics productions. Like Deadpool, Harley Quinn doesn’t shy away from breaking the fourth wall to connect directly with the public when the series isn’t having the pleasure of parodying iconic DC movies and series with purely enjoyable cheekiness.

After four seasons and a fifth season already ordered, Harley Quinn becomes DC Comics’ longest-running series. And until the second season of The Peacemaker sees the light of day, it also remains the craziest and most enjoyable superhero series of all that DC Studios has to offer.

All four seasons of the Harley Quinn animated series are now available on Warner Pass, the Prime Video streaming service.
