Anais finds out about Salome’s nonsense

At her roommate in the swamp, Salome gives Anais a Christmas present: the necklace her best friend fell for. Anais thanks him, then moves on to the Christmas menu. She is still very inspired and is determined to win Theo back with her cooking. As her friend leaves, Salome tells Gaetan about Theo and Celia. He hopes that Teissier will intervene to prevent Theo from going to the Institute and breaking Anais’ heart.

Christmas lunch starts at the institute. In the kitchen, Salome and Anais supervise their assistants. Clotilde and Antoine come to see them to peruse the menu. On the way, they are informed that Teissier has finally left for Paris to spend Christmas with Constance and her children. Salome thanks the director with a message, and Anais suffers disappointment.

Salome finds her best friend in the hallway that connects the kitchen and living room to comfort her. Anais worries that she has no chance to get her ex back. Salome replies that she does not need Theo in her life. She then confides in him that Chef Mayer is interested in her custom restaurant concept and that he has offered to come work for her in Bordeaux. However, Salome is still hesitant, especially since she has not yet spoken to Gaetan. Anais, in turn, encourages her friend to take advantage of this opportunity.

In the dining room, Vicky sits at the table with her mother, Hortense, and Mehdi to relax at the end of the service. He expresses his happiness by being with them for Christmas. Eugene and Hortense, whose relationship has calmed down, share the pleasure.

At the end of the service, Clotilda begins her thanksgiving speech, delighted and excited that the institute’s Christmas tradition continues. Antoine then greets the Christmas Brigade, who are delighted by the applause of the room. Salome also thanks the other and his clerks for their excellent work.

Later, Anais overhears a conversation between Berenice, Malik, and Leonard. Constance’s half-sister reveals that Salome conspired behind her best friend’s back to keep Theo from attending the institute.

In the evening, everyone outside faces the arrival of snow. Gaitan congratulates Anais on her wishes to Salome. Lost in thought, a young woman observes her friend from afar with a deep sense of betrayal. Only once Anais takes off the necklace that Salome gave her and throws it on the ground in the snow…

Carla is confronted with a painful memory

Carla meets Suleiman in the park. Rose joins them and wishes them a Merry Christmas. He also takes the opportunity to thank Carla for protecting him from the adoptive parents during their meeting. However, he promises to keep his distance from them during the Christmas meal.

But once at Double A, Rose finds herself sitting at the same table as Nicholas and Annie. He asks Laetitia to find another place, but it is too late. Antoine comes to sit next to Rosie to support her. Clotilda and Joachim join them in turn.

During the meal, tensions arise between Nicola and Anna, who would prefer their daughter to rest after her miscarriage, and Rose, who, on the contrary, believes that being part of the Christmas Brigade has done her a lot of good. Adoptive parents respond that they know better than they do what is best for their daughter.

After the service, Carla comes to sit at the adopters’ table, where Rose and Antoine are still there. He asks for gifts. Rose gives her a brooch because Carla is used to wearing them. This is the victim. Then he receives gifts from the adopter. By mistake, Anna gives him a gift from her uncle: baby slippers. Carla leaves the table to isolate herself and cries.

Leticia and Kelly reconciled

Zachary tries to cheer up Laetitia, who still can’t get over her daughter’s departure. As she prepares to dress for Christmas dinner, she realizes that her dress is missing. Zachary informs her that Lionel came to pick up some things for Kelly, and assumes that he picked it up by mistake.

In Double A, Letitia regularly asks Kelly at her desk. She is forced to look at him by reminding him that she is at work. On the other hand, together with Zachary Solali, he presents the dessert of the year: Frosty Fruit Mountain. But the young chef is aware of the absence of Tacey, whom he wanted to impress. Laetitia admits that she forgot to warn him.

Tasting its companion dessert, Laetitia confirms that it is much better than the traditional Teyssier log. Zachary then informs him that change can be good. He calls Lionel so that Laetitia can ask him to return the dress. However, the young man reveals that Kelly specifically asked for his return.

At the end of the service, Leticia asks Kelly why she wanted the dress back. The daughter tells him that she was planning to dress him up for New Year’s. Contrary to what Lenglart thought at the time, Kelly finds her very beautiful. Touched Laetitia gives it.

On the other hand, she asks her daughter not to hesitate to come and get things herself if necessary, instead of avoiding her. Once again, Kelly confides in him, explaining that she was afraid she wouldn’t leave if she returned home. Although happy to live with Lionel, Kelly also fears life without her mother. Laetitia reassures her of her ability to fly, then takes her in her arms. The two then join Lionel outside to watch the snow fall.
