Two months ago, we gave you a little tour of the United States, in the form of a quiz, in which we asked you to find the names of various states in the titles of movies that we had previously removed from their posters.
For example, the first picture showed a child wearing glasses and sitting on the hood of a yellow car. In the rearview mirror, we can recognize the noticeably younger faces of Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter. With only one word left from the original title, “Junior,” 75% of you managed to find the missing good in this 1987 Coen Brothers film, Arizona Junior.
Another question was a poster for one of the first feature films by American director Gus Van Sant. We find a very young Keanu Reeves in the foreground, behind him, the face of the late River Phoenix, for one of his last big screen appearances before his tragic death in 1993, aged just 23. Neither Iowa nor Indiana needed to answer to wrap up my own regular Idaho title.
A final example, somewhat of a difficult question as it relates to the original title of one of the pinnacles of 70s horror cinema. Indeed, Tobe Hooper’s film, which we know in France as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, is slightly different. its original version. Not Georgia, not Kansas, the movie takes place in Texas, its exact original title is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Today we are using the same concept again, but this time with cities in the United States and eleven movie titles to complete. So start this new road trip to try to reach your new perfect!
