‘I think I’m strong enough’: Jeremy Renner makes stunning statement one year after horrific crash

Almost a year ago today, Jeremy Renner was the victim of a terrible accident. While trying to save his niece, the actor was run over by a snow plow in front of his house.

The Hawkeye singer broke about 30 bones and had to undergo two surgeries. This was followed by a year of recuperation during which he was unable to appear on television.

This unfortunate incident significantly affected the filming of his TV series The Mayor of Kingstown (available in France on Paramount+), in which he plays the lead role. This family drama follows the McCluskey family in a small Michigan town that survives thanks to the local jail and police and the criminal life that reigns around the penitentiary.

Season 3 became official in May, and the producers were just waiting for his cast to return to begin filming.

In Interview with CNNJeremy Renner announced that he will return to work at the beginning of the year: “I think I’m ready, I think I’m strong enough. You’ll see. We’ll get it in a week. I’ll try to do my best.”

At least the former Avenger wasn’t idle during his hiatus. Jeremy Renner tried to heal psychological wounds not in front of the camera, but behind the microphone.

He actually took advantage of his time on TV to release the first track from his upcoming album (yes, he’s singing), with lyrics heavily inspired by the events he experienced in 2023.

under the name Love and Titan (Amour et Titane), his first opus, will be released in 2024. You can listen to his first single here in the player above.
