Chevrolet Confirms Six Launches for Brazil in 2024 and Will Unveil New Features at BBB; the new S10 and Trailblazer are coming
2024 will be a busy year for Chevrolet in Brazil. The American automaker confirmed on Monday 8th that it will make at least six launches this year for the Brazilian market. Some of these innovations, such as the new Chevrolet Spin, will be revealed during the reality show Big Brother Brasil, on Rede Globo.
Chevrolet has been a sponsor of the program since last year, when it replaced Fiat. Since then, the brand has presented the Montana, as well as the Tracker, S10 and Equinox versions and gave a Silverado to the winner of the latest edition, Dr. Amanda Meirelles. This year Chevrolet completes 99 years of presence in Brazil.

For now the only new feature confirmed is the new Spin, which according to Chevrolet will feature “evolutions in design, content and performance”. In addition to already knowing that it is a facelift, the Spin is also expected to receive new standard elements and more technology, in addition to the 116 HP 1.0 turbo flex engine from the Onix.

“Chevrolet aims to continue connecting with the public also through entertainment-related actions. The Big Brother Brasil sponsorship also allows us to amplify the promotion of key product launches for 2024,” says Chris Rego, executive director of marketing for GM South America.
In addition to the New Spin, which will hit stores by the end of the first quarter, Chevrolet will also tease other launches during BBB, which runs from January 8 to April 16. Among other cars, restylings for the S10 and the Trailblazer are practically certain, as well as new versions for the Silverado pick-up.
