Please note that this article tells the entire plot of the double trap.
In Double Trap, currently at the top of the most viewed series on the platform, Maya investigates the death of her husband, who she believes she saw on a spy camera at home after his disappearance. In the end, we find out that it was he who killed Joe, because the latter got rid of the hero’s sister, who knew a little more about the crimes of his youth.
During the investigation, Maya was able to count on the help of Shane (Emmett J. Scanlan), a soldier with whom she fought on the front. A character who is surrounded by a lot of mystery, to the point that at some point in the story we wonder if he is against it. It should be said that in one of the episodes, the soldier stops the tracker under the car… when he is not watching the house in the dark.
With a 14-page script and endless reshoots, this scene put the actors in trouble
In the end, we learn that Shane isn’t involved in the Burkett case at all, and that he’s just suspicious of Maya (rightfully so, because she really did kill her husband). But the scene didn’t elicit a reaction from Netflix subscribers. If all the answers are given, the unanswered question remains: is it really white?
on one of the wires Reddit Many from Double Trap wonder what Shane’s true intentions are, and there are plenty of theories:
“I think he was spying to protect himself better. He knows her well enough to know she was going to be in trouble. “ (jessierob89). “I’m sure he was in love with her, so one of two things could have happened: either he was the killer or they ended up together.” (London). As for this other caller, he thinks Shane was playing a double game : “I’m sure he had a role in the Burkett case”It involved the murder of a young student by Joe and his group.
While we won’t have an answer to that question given that Double Trap won’t be getting a Season 2, it’s up to fans to fill in the blanks.
