Waiting for the Cesars and Oscars, more prizes for the 2023 Palme d’Or!

Which French films will dominate awards season? As every year, the Académie des Lumières opens the ceremony in France, the day before the Oscar nominations and the day before the César nominations.

The Académie des Lumières, made up of journalists from the foreign press (correspondents of the international press from 36 countries), provides a first overview of the most notable and appreciated French films of the year, highlighting Justine Trier’s Anatomy of a Fall. 2 prizes) and several films with prizes, including Thomas Keel’s The Animal Kingdom (Best Director) and Cedric Kahn’s Goldman Trial (Revelation).
