Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, January 24, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Margot finds irrefutable evidence of the innocent Akim

Early in the morning, Margo and Akim run to the beach. An opportunity for a young woman to consider her resignation. In fact, Margo slammed the door of BGL’s office the day before and is not going to set foot there again.

Meanwhile, Johanna goes to the cemetery to prepare for Gilham’s funeral, which will take place the next day. The latter will be buried in the family plot. If this moment is particularly difficult for her, Johanna can count on Ian’s unwavering support.

Not far from there, Margo and Akim meet the lawyer who is responsible for protecting the policeman. Maître Bauchère has just received the investigative file, and since nothing so far proves the defense thesis, they will unfortunately have to find evidence to justify it. So Margo asks for a copy of the file.

At the office, Florent can’t help but find the building especially empty after Guilhem’s disappearance and Margot’s resignation. Convinced that the young woman’s departure is not irreversible, Florent offers Claudine to make things right and talk to her. However, Claudine categorically refuses. Indeed, the lawyer believes that the behavior of the young woman was unacceptable, but above all incompatible with the management of the firm.

At the same time, Margo studies Akim’s case. Looking through the list of calls Estelle has received, she notices that Guillem’s fiancee had a 9-minute phone conversation with Karine at the time of the near-tragedy. Margot then arranges to meet Karine at a cafe, who then explains to her that it was a voicemail. When Margot asks to listen to her, Karine accepts.

Back at home, Margot plays Akim the voicemail left on Karine’s answering machine, in which we hear what really happened that evening. From now on, Margot has irrefutable proof that Akim was indeed acting in self-defense.

Ludo makes the main decision

The Montpellier police, with the cooperation of port officials, set up a large-scale system to trap motorcycle thieves. After a while, Alex calls two men.

Back at the police station, Alex questions one of the suspects, who confesses to robbing Sandra’s store and other concessions in the area. When Alex shows him a photo of Jade, the man says he’s never seen her.

Even though Jade is now not guilty, Ellis still wants to lock her up. Alex tries to convince him that he has not been in Montpellier for a long time, but to no avail. Indeed, the police officer thinks that Sandra can help them find him.

After that, Alex calls Ludo and informs him that the person responsible for the motorcycle theft has been arrested. Although relieved, the young man’s smile fades when Alex tells him that Ellis is continuing to research despite everything. Realizing that she is putting herself in danger by staying in Montpellier, Jade sees no other choice but to leave.

Ludo, who for his part has thought a lot about the situation, decides to go with her, but Jade refuses because she has been in Montpellier all her life. Only, Ludo doesn’t want to make the same mistake as last time, and he doesn’t want to lose her. Therefore, he does not leave him a choice. A touched Jade tells him how much she loves him after kissing him. Will Ludo run away?
