A Better Life Preview: What’s in store for Thursday 25 January 2024 Episode 14 [SPOILERS]

Thursday 25 January A more beautiful life, even more beautiful

Ariane confronts the past

Ariane has made a choice, she wants to know about her hidden daughter Zoe. He goes to the front of the hotel where she is staying, hoping to talk to her. Suddenly, Zoe arrives and Ariane calls her and offers to have dinner together. A teenager accepts an invitation.

At the restaurant, Zoe continues to beat up her biological mother. Ariane tries to start a dialogue by asking for information about her adoptive family, but Zoe replies that she was never on the adoption list due to the fact that she has a heart defect. Ariane begs her forgiveness, but isn’t it too late?

Tired of answering Ariane’s questions, Zoë exclaimed: “Do you want to meet me? Are you reading this?”. She hands him all her work and abruptly leaves the restaurant. Meanwhile, at the bar in Mistral, Thomas reveals Ariane’s dark secret to Patrick and Jean-Paul. They are shocked and vow to support their colleague.

Steve denies

At the Masalia residence, Steve’s condition becomes critical. While he was sleeping soundly, the fellow suddenly wakes Jules up. The latter informs him that he will be late for the exams. Steve panics: he jumps out of bed, puts on his clothes, but almost faints.

Later that day, Steve meets Jules at the residence. The latter tells him about the day’s presentation: food waste. He informs that in order to solve this problem as much as possible, restaurateurs donate their unsold items. He informs that the bar “Mistral” is involved in this operation.

Steve goes to the bar and asks Killian if he can collect the day’s unsold merchandise for one of his friends. Unfortunately, all the remains have already found a recipient. Killian seems to realize that his so-called “friend” is none other than Stevie and gives him his sandwich.

Francesco loses control

At the Mistral police station, Estelle is questioned by Samuel after Javad’s attack. He is shocked and doesn’t know who could be angry with his ex-girlfriend. The policeman offers to take her home, but Estelle replies that she no longer lives with Francesco last night.

Estelle, wracked with guilt, goes to the hospital to check on Javad. He meets Aya in the corridor. The latter accuses him of starting the attack on his brother and asks him to leave the building.

A few hours later, Estelle finds Luna at a bar. He tells his friend that the drama that just unfolded gave him an electric shock. She declares that her marriage to Francesco is a failure and adds: “I never stopped loving Javad. He is my soulmate, I’m sure of that.”.

at Mistral police headquarters. Patrick and Samuel wonder about the weapon used on Javad and think it was a kitchen knife. Samuel confides in his colleague that he has doubts about Francesco. Patrick replies that an interrogation is needed to test his alibi.

A few steps away, Silvia waits for Francesco in an alley out of sight of passers-by. The latter arrives completely agitated and asks her sister to help her escape before the police arrest her. Sylvia understands that she is the one who attacked Javad. She begs him to give up, but Francesco leaves, shouting, “Nobody’s gonna stop me!”.
