Venus will also be visible nearby, above Mars, and Mercury will appear just below. Due to its proximity to the horizon, it will not be so easy to see it.

Conjunction between Venus and Mars (22/02)

This conjunction will be even more impressive and will also occur just before dawn. At 4.20am, Venus and Mars will rise close together, providing a rare sight in the sky. We will be able to observe the event until 5:30 am, at which time sunlight will begin to intrude. Even so, the brightness of the planets is likely to keep them visible longer.

Venus and Mars

Just like the conjunction on the 8th, the planets will still be low in the sky as the Sun rises, so look for places where the horizon is clear of buildings, trees and houses. The clearer the horizon, the sooner you will follow the couple as they rise into the celestial landscape.
