Christopher Nolan reaffirms his love for ‘The Fast and the Furious’ and confesses: ‘I don’t feel guilty’

Nolan admitted that he doesn’t feel guilty about liking ‘The Fast and the Furious’ and said that ‘Tokyo Drift’ is his favorite film in the franchise

Christopher Nolan continues to be a big fan of the franchise Fast and furious. In an interview with Stephen Colbertat the The Late Showthe director confessed: “I don’t feel guilty for being a fan of the franchise Fast and furious“.

“A tremendous franchise… Have you ever seen any [filme]? I watch these movies all the time. I love them,” he said. Nolan upon discovering that the presenter never watched the films. “I’m surprised you’ve never seen one of these. They’re just the last ones where a specific arc and mythology develops. I’d start with Challenge in Tokyo and I would watch it as if it were something of my own”, he advised.

The filmmaker’s love for the franchise was revealed a few years ago. He said, at the time, in an interview with the podcast Happy Sad Confusedwhich he keeps Challenge in Tokyo in “a very special place”.
