
Actor Christian Bale (of “Batman Begins”) has revealed that he inspired his “Thor: Love and Thunder” villain in a clip by electronic artist Aphex Twin.
He took the reference when he was compared to rocker Marilyn Manson, telling Deadline what drove his creation of Gorr the Butcher of the Gods.
“I was definitely influenced by the looks of ‘Nosferatu’ and the musician Aphex Twin. He has a great video called ‘Come to Daddy’ with a character that Taika and I liked and he was my reference,” explained the actor. citing the participation of director Taika Waititi (from “Jojo Rabbit”) in this process.
Christian Bale also talked about Gorr’s provocative look, pointing out the difficulty of doing anything due to the long false nails.
