The Manchester City striker forms a partnership with the traditional Norwegian factory and creates a promotion reminiscent of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland will expand his role off the pitch. The player launched a popsicle in collaboration with Hennig-Olsen, a traditional Norwegian ice cream factory.
According to the company’s official website, the dessert tastes like vanilla, caramel sauce and is dipped in chocolate and crunchy balls. Hennig-Olsen guarantees that Haaland contributed to the development of the product.
— It’s incredibly fun to have your own ice cream and it’s great to be part of the Football Ice Cream Hall of Fame alongside legend Erik Mykland. As a professional athlete, I am aware of the importance of a healthy diet. I probably wouldn’t recommend five Haaland ice creams a day, but it’s important to treat yourself to something really good every now and then,” says Haaland.

Promotion
The launch takes place with a promotion reminiscent of the classic film “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.
The company produced four special sticks. One of these, the main prize, entitles you to a gift voucher worth NOK 30,000 (just over R$14,000 at the current price), which can be used on trips, with an optional destination, to watch football matches.
Whoever finds one of the other three sticks wins an item autographed by Haaland, which could be the Norwegian national team shirt, football boots or other similar equipment.
