Through My Window on Netflix: How Does the Spanish Trilogy End?

Warning, spoilers. The following paragraphs reveal plot elements from the film Through My Window: Eye to Eye.

Debuting in 2022, Through My Window is one of the latest hit teen sagas on Netflix. This romance franchise, inspired by After, tells the complicated love story between Raquel (Clara Galle) and Ares (Julio Peña, recently seen in Berlin, the La Casa de Papel spin-off).

It will conclude this year with the release of the third and final film, Through My Window: Eyes to Eyes. Much anticipated by fans, this latest feature film concludes the complex yet intense novel imagined by Ariana Godoy, whose writings have been turned into books published on Wattpad (a social network where registered users can edit and share stories, poems, fantasy and all kinds of novels).

So how does Rachel and Ares’ love story end? A good note, like any self-indulgent romantic comedy. Here ends Through My Window: Eye to Eye.

How does the romance between Ares and Raquel end?

In the second installment of Through My Window: Love Horizon, shortly after the tragic events of the summer, Raquel and Ares decide to separate. Although the love was always there, their disagreements made their relationship better.

And the death of Rachel’s best friend, Yoshi, shakes up the whole group, who are separated for the new school year. Thinking the distance would do them good, Raquel stayed in Barcelona while Ares returned to university in Sweden.

But the year-end celebration will change everything. Indeed, Through My Window: Eye to Eye takes place at Christmas. Ares returns to Barcelona to join his family, but he doesn’t come alone. He is in a relationship with Vera (Andrea Chaparro). On the other hand, Rakel is in a relationship with Gregor (Ivan Lapadula).

A Young Woman celebrates the release of the novel Through My Window, which tells the story of her relationship with Are, which Yoshi has submitted to a publisher. Everything seems to be going smoothly for Raquel.

But it’s clear that the feelings between Ares and Raquel are still there. When Gregor realizes that Raquel is still writing about Ares for the second novel, he decides to break up with her. Raquel and Ares then see each other in secret and the fire between them is rekindled.

But Raquel gives Ares an ultimatum and asks him to choose between Vera and her. What he doesn’t know is that Vera and Ares have some sort of arrangement, as their two families see their relationship as a partnership in their business.

Ares wants to convince Vera, who is in love with someone else, to end their relationship and he wants to join Raquel for New Years. But the latter, depressed, went to a party with friends, including Ana (Karla Toews), Yoshi’s ex, who still blames Raquel for his death.

Anna puts the pills in Raquel’s cup, who wanted to find Ares. He changes his mind at the last moment, but the damage is done and Raquel drinks. Raquel, a drug addict, spends the night at a club and wakes up disoriented when Ares calls her before leaving for Sweden.

Sensing that he is in danger, he rushes to find her and save her at the last minute. They both wake up in the hospital, happy to finally be together again. During his book reading and signing session, Raquel discovers Anna, who comes to apologize for her behavior, and they go together to pay their respects to Yoshi at the scene.

after 5 years

Through My Window: Eye to Eye ends on a happy note. We find Ares and Raquel five years after the events below. Two lovers move into a new apartment together and seem ready to spend the rest of their lives together.

We leave them on the balcony of their new home for one last kiss while the two lovers tell each other they love each other. So it’s a perfect ending for Raquel and Ares, who make a good couple.
