In modern Japan there is a culture of ninja warriors, completely different from that of manga: here the lives taken by swords are real. In this context, these agents operate in the shadows and must carry out each of their missions to the letter, even if they must kill countless victims to do so. An entire family, trained to serve the country as ninja, accepted missions for many generations, but only until retirement.

This work stoppage, however, was short-lived: the government contacted them and informed them that new threats had emerged in the country, and the police force alone was unable to deal with the new problems. Therefore, the warrior family must return to action and accept new challenges. It’s always difficult to put the people you love at risk to get a job done, but what this family didn’t know was that the “normal” life of Japanese citizens, for them, was extremely monotonous –– hard to settle when you could first follow and kill people.

Their hesitation, however, is short-lived: countless innocent people begin to die in different parts of Japan, victims of a strange poison that will claim even more victims. So, virtually “forced” to act, the family must return to its old positions, draw its sword and prosecute these new enemies of the government.

The miniseries is available on the Netflix streaming system and has 8 episodes, each lasting an average of one hour. In the cast you can find names like Kento Kaku, Riho Yoshioka, Tae Kimura, Aju Makita, Kengo Kora, Yōsuke Eguchi and many others.
