Friday March 1 Tomorrow belongs to us…
Audrey kicks Damien out
The day before, Damien had entered Lori’s house to return the notebook he had found, only to be caught in the act by a young woman. At the police station, Karim claims that Damien just came to see him to talk to him about the Jordan investigation and that he would be worried if he saw the door open. If he doesn’t believe Lor for a second, he says he’s not going to file a complaint. Karim tries to reassure her, confirming that Damien is now under investigation. After escorting the young woman, he announced this to his colleague.
Damien sets his things down and Roxanne joins him. She asks him to keep her hope as she has found the victim’s son who will likely file a complaint against Lori. A little later, John Kovac goes to the police station to tell Karim that he noticed suspicious money being withdrawn from the bank account of his mother, who has been in the hospital for several weeks. His suspicions fall on his nurse, Lori. Karim files his complaint for theft and abuse of weakness. While he doesn’t agree with the methods Damien and Roxanne used to get there, Karim still admits there’s something to dig up.
Meanwhile, Jordan’s cellmate steals a letter that Violet wrote for him to read. Jordan takes her by the hand and explains that Violet is not his girlfriend and considers her a member of the family. At Roussel, Simon tells Audrey and Damien that he will continue to fight to protect Jordan, despite the risks Damien has taken. The latter makes his wife happy by the fact that she would not be left with anything. He promises a solution even if the investigation is suspended.
At the police station, Karim questions Lor about Mrs. Kovac. The young woman claims her innocence, then accuses her ex-boyfriend Alban of being the real fraud in the story. He also suggests that the police come and search his house to prove that he has nothing to hide. During the search, Karim and Georges come up empty: no cash or jewelry hidden, and no trace of the notebook that Damien found. George suspects that Lore burned him in the sink where the burn marks were found. Before leaving, the two police officers ask Lor to give him his cell phone to be analyzed.
A little later, Roxanne finishes her analysis with Georges. They inform Karim that they found nothing suspicious. In fact, Laure deleted all of her conversations with Alban. George called him for an explanation. Lore claimed she deleted them in a fit of rage as they fought to the death. Like his colleagues, Karim finds his behavior suspicious. He asks them to find something to challenge him.
At the hospital, John prevents Lau from entering his mother’s room. Marian intervenes and assures John that Laura will now change. Kovak advises Mariana to be careful with Lore because she thinks that her mother is not her only victim.
In the evening, Roxanne visits Audrey and Damien to update them on the investigation. Unfortunately, the police could not find anything incriminating about Lori. As Roxanne leaves, Audrey lets her anger explode. She blames her husband for the situation and kicks him out…
Bruno under the spell of Adeline
In it, Bruno admits to Alex that he is afraid to check him in the hospital for a stent. He feels that he is getting hypochondriacal with age.
In the hospital hall, Bruno meets Adeline, who has also come for an exam. He flirts a little awkwardly, but manages to laugh it off. He invites her to coffee in Spon after the relevant exams. Adeline does not give him a clear answer.
After the exams, Bruno learns that he is doing very well. Marian advises him to continue a healthy lifestyle. So Bruno goes to the spoon, where his son gives him apple juice. As Adeline walks through the cafe doors, Bruno thanks her for accepting his invitation. Then the young woman explains that she did not come for him, but for her friend.
Timothy learns more about the police
For the day off, Timothy asked to follow the patrol to see how the police work on the ground. He follows Manon and Nordin around all day and records voice notes of his observations, which Nordin finds critical.
Manon and Nordin come across a poorly parked car and prepare a ticket. Timothy also mentions two other crimes. Victor soon arrives and apologizes for the inconvenience. If Timothy refuses to give him preferential treatment, Nordin prefers to turn a blind eye.
