Guarani beat RB Bragantino (10) this Sunday, with a score of 1-0, in a match valid for the last round of the first phase of the Campeonato Paulista. Bugrino’s goal was scored by Pablo Thomaz.
FIRST TIME
Although RB Bragantino maintained initial control of the action, Guarani threw a bucket of cold water and, in the eighth minute, opened the scoring at Brinco de Ouro with Pablo Thomaz. After Vladimir’s pass, the attacker received Reinaldo’s cross with his right foot, leaving Bugre ahead.
Bragantino presents himself with a new opportunity to threaten in the 24th minute, when Gustavinho heads the ball and the ball grazes the goal. In the 27th minute, defender Rayan saved the team from defeat on the line, preventing what would have been Vitinho’s goal.
In the 37th minute, defender Léo Santos received the ball from Gustavo França and tried to cross, but the ball grazed the post. In the 42nd minute, Bugre had the chance to expand, but Régis shot above the goal and missed.
SECOND TIME
Guarani and Bragantino shared control of the match in the first 10 minutes of the second half, but this time the first scare came from Massa Bruta. In the 11th minute, defender Douglas Mendes took advantage of a header from Vitinho and hit the post.
A new opportunity for the guests arrived at 8pm, with midfielder Gabriel Lopes. The action started with Yuri finding Gabriel free, who shot close to the goal.
Despite having no further commitments in the competition in 2024, with this result Guarani has managed to guarantee its permanence among the elite of the state of Sao Paulo.
