The Correios page receives a redesign that brings new icons, areas and the arrival of ChatGPT to the virtual chat

Correios has announced the arrival of new features on the services portal. As part of the “Correios do Futuro” project, the update includes a new layout and exclusive areas for product promotion, as well as a customized version of the ChatGPT to enhance conversations with virtual assistant Carol, who also has a new look.



The project aims to improve the user experience

The changes arrived on Monday (11) and aim to “save the state company”, according to the president of Correios, Fabiano Silva dos Santos. Therefore, anyone who visits the Correios page will encounter faster access, highlighted icons, compliance with accessibility requirements and space for the presentation of more than 80 products and services.

Additionally, ChatGPT has been integrated with the online service to deliver more humanized and intelligent conversations. When you enter the chat area, you can ask questions about Correios, its packages and its activities. There are some predetermined questions so that each customer can find the answer as quickly as possible.

“Since we took over the company a year ago, we have worked to modernize Correios’ structures, products and services, seeking to achieve efficiency and sustainability for the organization,” Fabiano underlines.

No privatization for Correios

It is worth remembering that the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, removed Correios from the privatization list. Therefore, the current management of the company claims to be working on a number of measures to bring digital and logistics solutions to e-commerce, but there are no details on what all these measures are.

The integration of OpenAI’s artificial intelligence into the website is a step towards modernizing the entire process and customer journey, but there is still a lot to do, as it is common to find reports on social media of delays in deliveries, for example.
