It’s been 36 years since Tim Burton introduced ‘Beetlejuice’, one of the most iconic films of the 1980s, in which a somewhat eccentric ghost with questionable methods agrees to get the new residents out of Barbara and Adam’s house who drowned.
Michael Keaton Admits He’s Already Seen ‘Beetlejuice 2’
Actor Michael Keaton, who played “Super Ghost” in the first film, went on “The Jess Cagle Show” and revealed that he already had the chance to see the first part of the highly anticipated sequel.
Keaton, who also played Batman in the films directed by Tim Burton, knows that the first film in 1988 was well-loved by fans and assured that they will not be disappointed when they see the sequel.
Although the promotional tour for this film will begin in a few months, Keaton did not shy away from making his opinion of the film known, saying that it is “awesome” and that he was not prepared for what he saw.

Titled ‘Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice’, the sequel brings back Michael Keaton as the ‘Super Ghost’ and Catherine O’Hara will once again play artist Delia Deetz.
Jenna Ortega, who starred in “Merlina,” a series directed by Tim Burton, is also part of the cast, who will be Lydia’s (Winona Ryder) daughter, according to the site “Fotogramas.”
Justin Theroux (“The Leftlovers,” “Mulholland Drive” and “Psycho”) joins the cast, as does Monica Bellucci, who is rumored to be Beetlejuice’s wife, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Thanks to the official poster revealed by Warner Bros. we know that this sequel will be released on September 6th in the United States, so it is expected to arrive a day earlier in Mexico due to the strategic release in the country.
‘Beetlejuice 2’ was produced by Plan B, Burton and Brad Pitt. Al Gough and Miles Millar, creators of the Netflix series “Merlina,” wrote the screenplay.
Although the plot, as well as possible cameos from other characters, have not been revealed, Michael Keaton’s words have excited Beetlejuice fans, who want it to have the same substance and humor as the first installment.
