The Civil Police of the State of Sao Paulo are investigating an assault against a 12-year-old student in EMEB Prof. Hebe de Almeida Leite Cardosowhich is in New horizonmunicipality of interior of San Paolo.
According to the São Paulo State Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the case was registered as racial or racial prejudice, persecution and de facto criminal prosecution by the city police station working to clarify the facts. “Further details will be retained as he is a minor,” the ministry said.

On March 11 this year, the mother of the 12-year-old teenager went with her daughter to the Novo Horizonte police station in the late afternoon, reporting that on that date the student had been attacked by five students from the school where in the morning he studies the second year of primary school. From the police report it appears that the girl was attacked and that earth, cat feces and water were thrown on her body and on her uniform, as well as making her fall to the ground and trampled on her, causing injuries to the victim’s face.
Also present in the document is information that the indicted teenagers call the registrant’s daughter “monkey”, “bumpy hair” and “chocolate”. The student’s mother took action against the teenagers and also asked for protective measures so that they did not come near her. The request was forwarded to the Judiciary and her mother undertook to take the medical documentation relating to the care given to her daughter on the day in question.
Subsequently, in a police report drawn up on the afternoon of March 15, the manager of one of the accused teenagers showed up with her at the city police station to tell his version of what happened. The case was registered as slander.
The document says that when the teenagers left the school, they threw water and earth as part of the region’s usual game, given that the previous day was the birthday of the student, whose family reported the attack. Exactly as they had done previously with another colleague from the same group.
According to the document, the teenager herself said that it was her birthday and that her colleagues could dirty her. However, after the match, the boys learned that their colleague’s birthday had been the previous month.
After the incident, the student’s mother, who filed a complaint, published on social media that her daughter had been attacked at the entrance to the school and that the teenager had suffered bullying because of your color and hair. She posted photos of the teen in dirty clothes, as noted in the police report of those involved.
On the same day, the 15th, another police complaint was also registered as slander by the mother of another teenager accused of attacking his classmate. In her statement, her mother states that at no time did her son offend or attack her colleague.
Recently, the town hall of New horizon posted a message on social media saying it prioritizes the well-being of all its students.
“We are aware of the seriousness of the case exposed on social media. This is why we are resolving the issue in the best possible way together with the families”, published the municipal administration.
