According to Bloomberg, the company has scheduled meetings in Los Angeles, USA, next week, with Hollywood studios, media executives and talent agencies. The goal is to form partnerships in the entertainment industry and encourage filmmakers to integrate its new AI video generator, Sora, into their work.
According to the report, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was working behind the scenes to try to improve the relationship between the parties and close the deal. He also attended parties in Los Angeles over Oscar weekend.
