Dakota Johnson reacts after being linked to Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Brouhaha

On occasion The highly publicized trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard , it was like something new went viral every day. One of those things had to do with fifty shades Yes sigh Actress Dakota Johnson During the events of the trial, a video of Johnson and Depp promoting their 2015 film resurfaced. Black Massand Depp’s bandaged middle finger, which presumably the result of an altercation with Heard , brought him into the conversation. The actress shared her reaction to being tied to things.

Dakota Johnson was recently asked if she had seen the 2015 clip, which resurfaced and garnered over three million views with the caption “The EXACT Moment Dakota Johnson KNEW Amber Heard was VIOLENT with Johnny Depp”. In his words:

I thought, ‘For God’s sake, why? Why am I involved in this? I don’t remember at all, but please get me out of here. Don’t let it go any further. Can you imagine, oh my God, if I were called to the stand? I can’t believe people are watching [the trial] as if it were a show. It feels like a courtroom drama and my heart breaks. It’s so, so, so crazy. Humans are really weird. The internet is a wild and wild place.

In the video, Dakota Johnson and Johnny Depp sit next to each other during a Black Mass press conference as its director, Scott Cooper, speaks. Johnson seems to have figured this out Depp’s injured finger, which was discussed at length during the recent trial , and they seemed to be talking about it. Here is the viral video:

Dakota Johnson is far from the only celebrity mentioned and involved in the Johnny Depp / Amber Heard fiasco. Other big names like Paul Bettany, James Franco, Marilyn Manson and Elon Musk were also mentioned during the trial. During his candid interview with dressing table Johnson said he probably would never speak specifically on the subject, but went on to say:

What I struggle with in terms of the culture of cancellation is the term culture of cancellation: the whole concept behind the cancellation of a human being, as if it were an appointment. Nobody will make mistakes in their life. The point of being alive is to discover. Hurting others, hurting others is not acceptable. There are consequences for these actions. But the Twitterverse concept of deciding if someone suddenly no longer exists is horrifying, heartbreaking, and wrong. I think it will happen. I think people want to live in a better world, ultimately. Plus, Twitter is, what, 12% of the world? I mean, some of these people don’t even know how to spell.

Dakota Johnson has not only worked with Johnny Depp, but also with Shia LaBeouf and Armie Hammer, who have been in the spotlight on serious abuse allegations. When asked what she thought of it (prior to the Depp / Heard lawsuit, in 2021), Johnson shared that he had never faced allegations of first-person abuse by these co-stars and had an “incredible time. “working with them.

Dakota Johnson did not want to take part in the big media event and said the trial had become a “legal drama” when in reality it was a real and serious situation being broadcast around the world. The trial began on April 11, 2022 and ended on June 1, 2022, with a heavily weighted verdict in Depp’s favor. The jury found Heard guilty of defamation, awarding Depp $ 15 million in punitive and compensatory damages, and Depp was found guilty of one aspect of Heard’s counterclaim, awarding him $ 2 million in compensatory interest.
