A family secret was discovered

Michel (Ivan Attal) has achieved success in his life: a Parisian architect at the head of a famous firm, married and the father of two adult children, he is appreciated and respected by those around him. But his past, which he cannot forget, resurfaces when his brother Patrice’s (Matthew Kasowitz) wife alerts him to the latter’s disappearance. Only Michelle knows where to look for it.

The reunion of these two brothers will take them back several decades to when they were still children. Children with an extraordinary destiny…

First intimate and wild pictures

Frères’ first images, mostly dark, reveal a double timelessness in Olivier Casas’ new feature film (Baby Phone). Indeed, the characters of Michel and Patrice appear as adults in the clothes of Ivan Attal and Mathieu Kasowitz, but also younger, in their childhood. Young performers then seem to live in nature, left to themselves in the forest.

Clearly full of complicity, these kids meet again years later when Ivan Attali’s character sets off in search of his big brother. In an equally wild, dark and snowy setting, they delve into their pasts, reconsider their relationship, and reflect on their lives as adults…
