The Disney + platform made available the Marvel series that were on Netflix in its catalog.

The episodes of “Daredevil”, “Jessica Jones”, “Luke Cage”, “Iron Fist”, “Punisher” and “The Defenders” arrived in Brazil this Wednesday (29/5) and were also accompanied by adjustments age checks on the platform, as they represent the most adult material – for sex scenes, vulgarity and violence – ever offered by the service.

As a result, the stream will now have content for people aged 16-18, and subscribers will need to update their account age limits to prevent children from accessing parts of their programming.

The arrival of the Netflix series on Disney + coincides with another event: the return of some characters from those attractions, played by the same actors, in new productions by Marvel Studios. Charlie Cox played Matt Murdock, Daredevil, in a brief appearance in “Spider-Man: No Homecoming”, released last December, while Vincent D’Onofrio returned to play the Kingpin, antagonist of Daredevil, in the series “Hawkeye Archer” , also released in December on Disney +.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cox joked that he knew “a little” about what was in store for his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) following Matt Murdock’s appearance in the Spider-Man movie. .

Subsequently, Marvel hired writer-producer Matt Corman and Chris Ord, creators of “Cover Affairs,” to develop an attraction with Daredevil.

The series come complete and simultaneous, but are not meant to be watched one after the other. In their original version, the attractions formed a shared Marvel Universe on Netflix and, like the studio films, have a viewing order. The characters and their stories mix and four of them also star together in “The Defenders”, a miniseries that ties together the stories of the first seasons.

For new viewers, the guide below reveals the correct order of seasons, from the 2015 debut of “Daredevil” to the sudden ending of “Jessica Jones” in 2019.

By the way, Disney + also released “Agents of SHIELD”. But, although it also came streaming on Netflix, this production was originally made for open TV and has no connection with the others.
