According to information from Variety, the singer has already started working on filming, but her role is a mystery so far. Entitled High and Lowthe film is a remake of the classic Heaven and hell (1963), directed by Akira Kurosawa.
It’s worth remembering how the original film is based on the book King’s Ransom (1959), written by Ed McBain. The plot follows a rich man who is forced to pay the ransom for his employee’s kidnapped son. The remake will be released in theaters by A24 before arriving in the catalog Apple TV+.
