The last lyrics of the song say “You look like Taylor Swift in this light / We love it / You got an edge, she never did / The future is bright / Dazzling.”
Fans have noticed that the character Swift is rumored to play in the MCU is a mutant named Dazzle.
To add to the speculation, the X-Men character’s name is Alison, which is also Swift’s middle name.
This has led fans to wonder if these similarities are mere coincidences or if they are deliberate clues to Swift’s involvement in the film.
Why Do Fans Think Taylor Swift Will Appear In ‘Deadpool 3’?
The speculation started months ago and only grew after a report from The DisInsider purportedly confirmed Taylor Swift’s involvement in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.
Fans then began pointing out clues where they found them. Many remembered that in the second part of Deadpool, Reynolds’ character, Wade Wilson, wore a t-shirt with Swift’s cats.
Speculation grew after the singer was seen in the company of Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy on several occasions in public in the summer of 2023.
Additionally, in July 2023, an old photo of the voice of “Fifteen Days” in a Deadpool outfit resurfaced on social media, further fueling speculation.
Despite all these clues, no one involved in the film has confirmed or denied the rumours. Director Shawn Levy, when asked about it at CinemaCon 2024, avoided giving a direct answer and simply replied: “I can’t even believe you dare to ask me a question you know I can’t answer. You know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can. I’ll say what I said before here at CinemaCon. The proliferation of rumors about who is and who isn’t in this movie is fantastic.
