Super Cute Dogs + Love Story: You’re going to love this movie on Prime Video!

What if your dogs let you find love? This isn’t the crux of a weird new dating app, but the starting pitch for a new romantic comedy that just hit Prime Video that you’re sure to love!

You + me + our dogs

Inspired by BuzzFeed’s 2015 Puppyhood short film series, this new romantic comedy follows the endearing adventures of a pair created by dogs. And yet, things get off to a bad start: Nicole, a carefree party girl, and Max, who suffers from social anxiety, have a disastrous first date.

But their dogs had time to get physically close…and the results came weeks later. Little puppies are on the way! Despite their differences and contrasting personalities, Nicole and Max will do their best to be responsible co-parents as days pass and feelings between them grow.

And what better title than Puppy Love for this new romcom? Written by Greg Glina, Peter Stassi, Kirsten Guenther, Dan Scheinkeman and Richard Alan Reed and directed by Richard Alan Reed and Nick Fabiano, this film could rely on two stars who are well known to fans of the series.

On one side we find Grant Gustin, who played the Flash for 9 years on the small screen after small roles on Glee and 90210. On the other side, we meet Lucy Hale, who played Aria on Pretty Little Liars for 6 years. Before we saw him in Truth or Dare or Nightmare Island.

If Puppy Love is a romcom that plays all the classic codes and offers a rather conventional and predictable plot, the alchemy between Lucy Hale and Grant Gustin is good enough to make the film effective and enjoyable to watch, with Jane Seymour as a guest. . And most importantly, we love the adorable dogs of the two heroes and their little offspring!

Puppy Love movie is available on Prime Video.
