It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Wednesday 1 May 2024 Episode 916 [SPOILERS]

Everything starts here on Wednesday May 1st…

Cardone is back!

After overhearing Claire plotting against Tayce with someone on the phone, Salome repeats it to Anais. Afterwards, the two girls talk to David, wondering about the identity of Claire’s contact, who he arranged to meet earlier in the morning at a downtown cafe. If Salome can’t go there because of work on the Coupe de France, Anais and David decide to go together.

On the spot, they question the cafe manager, who tells them they just missed Chef Guino. He adds that he was surrounded by a woman and gives her a scarf that the latter forgot.

Later, at Double A, Stanislaus and Anais admit to Clotilda that they can only serve until the weekend with the reserves they have. In fact, they have no choice but to suspend orders. Despite Clotilde’s best efforts, the bank refuses to give them more time to provide proof that they will be able to repay the debt. At the same time, Claire steps in to announce that she has found someone willing to invest in the institute and provide the money needed to save it. Anais immediately informs Salome by text.

The young woman then goes to the park to warn Teissier about the situation. The latter did not know that Guino had found an investor. Anais adds that the head clearly wants to take advantage of this and expel him from the leadership of the institute. She then entrusts him with a scarf that this mysterious investor left behind at a downtown cafe during a meeting with Guino.

After which Teissier meets Edouard Faye, Solal’s father, who tries in vain to convince him to invest in the institute. But this is too big a risk for him. As soon as he leaves, Leroy goes to see his friend and admits that he found no one by his side. Teissier is completely disappointed. He is afraid of losing everything.

On Mark’s advice, Teissier returns home to get some rest. Constance returns with all her belongings to support him in this ordeal and declares that she loves him no matter what. They hug each other. Teissier tells him everything that happened when he gave the scarf. Constance noticed that this fabric was made by Lilly’s designer. Taysier easily guesses who it belongs to…

Meanwhile, Claire gathers Rose, Clotilde and Antoine at Double A to tell them that she has found someone who can save the Institute. If her colleagues want to wait for Teissier to speak, Claire believes that it is not necessary because he always does what he wants. Except the principal drops in to join the conversation at the app’s restaurant.

At the same time, Annabelle Cardone arrives, claiming to have the necessary funds to protect the facility. In return he asks for a share of the turnover, but above all to be appointed director of the institute – the only way to ensure that his investment is well managed. However, Clotilde stresses that the Board of Education should have a vote to decide this. Annabelle is all set to submit, but she’s very clear: either they make her director or they lose the institute…

Carla and Berenice reconciled

In class, Suleiman notices that Carla is not very motivated by the spring theme that Hortense is working on. She suggests that he is still on bad terms with Berenice after their argument the day before. Carla believes that she has put in enough effort to reconnect and that her boyfriend is ghosting her. But, on closer inspection, Suleiman believes Carla didn’t go far enough in terms of apologizing.

Later, Rose meets Carla at the coffee machine and quickly notices that she is in a bad mood due to her argument with Berenice. Rose thinks they shouldn’t be fighting over a story about two adults. Unable to write an actual apology, Carla enlists the help of her mother, whose writing skills she praises, to do it for her.

At the end of the day, Carla finds Berenica in the kitchen. She offers him a lily stem as a sign of peace. Rose’s message has little effect, Berenia is open to reconciliation. The two girls meet again, kiss and plan a romantic picnic in the swamp.

Kelly’s past resurfaces

In the studio, Kelly and his team are hard at work on Landrace’s training program for the Coupe de France. Good understanding and efficiency reign in the trio, whose motivation is well established.

A little later, Landiras comes to taste their cake: it’s great! At the same time, Antoine arrives to tell him the place of the contest: it is Brittany, more precisely the Palace of the Congress in Saint-Malo. The deputy director adds that they will be accommodated on the spot in the hotel-restaurant of one of the members of the jury, namely Chef Rossetti. If everyone is happy, Salome notices that Kelly doesn’t look happy.

In the park, Salome asks Letizia if she knows any Chef Rossetti. Laetitia then tells him that she used to work as a cleaner at his establishment. Everything was going well – the boss even took Kelly under his wing – until the jewels were stolen. Letitia and her daughter were wrongly accused by the boss, who fired them on the spot.

At the end of the day, Kelly goes to her mother’s house, where she is met by the support committee. Leticia, Salome, and Lionel gather, fretting over Kelly Rossetti. The young girl admits she’s nervous about meeting him face-to-face, but she’s not going to let herself be intimidated. His loved ones are there to cheer him on.
