Cobra Kai on Netflix: When will the final season air?

We’ve known for a long time: the sixth season of Cobra Kai will be the last. The announced end of the Karate Kid series has thrown many of its fans into turmoil, but Netflix still has good news to announce.

Thus, during the teaser for the release of the first images of this last season, the platform announced that the finale of Cobra Kai will be divided into three parts, for a total of fifteen episodes.

The first round of episodes will debut on Netflix on July 18, the second installment is expected on November 28, and the third and final installment will hit the platform in 2025.

If seasons of the most anticipated series on Netflix are usually divided into two parts, on the other hand, it is much rarer – if not completely unprecedented – to split a season into two parts. Therefore, it cannot be said that the platform is betting big on the end of this series, which continues to gain popularity over the years.

The first teaser for this season 6 heralds a flurry of action, but also the return of some of the series’ most iconic characters. The promotional video has also caused a lot of surprises, but its nature is not yet known. However, an appearance by Miss Karate Kid, played by Hilary Swank, does not appear to be on the agenda…

The film will also be released, but…

Cobra Kai is a sequel to the Karate Kids trilogy produced in the 80s, with characters from the original film returning to the series, starting with rivals Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). In addition to the Miss Karate Kid spin-off, a reboot starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith was released in 2010!

Let’s also remember the existence of a film project that unites Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan. However, this crossover of the Karate Kid franchise seems to be unrelated to the universe of the Cobra Kai series, and its creators were not invited to participate in the writing of the feature film.
