Netflix is preparing a pleasant project for its subscribers. The streaming platform is collaborating for the first time with Jude Law on a very interesting project. The 51-year-old British actor will be one of the headliners in Black Rabbit, a drama in which he will star opposite Jason Bateman (Ozark).
If screenwriters Zach Beilein and Kate Sussman (The Williams Method) are secretly working on the script, we already know what the miniseries will be about:
When a New York establishment owner lets his troubled brother back into his life, he opens the door to a series of setbacks that threaten to destroy everything he’s built.
The platform is coming To complete the distribution list Black Rabbit, in which Cleopatra Coleman (Rebel Moon), Troy Kotsuri (CODA), who will play a bookie connected to a criminal organization, or even Robin de Jesus (Tick Tick…BOOM), who will play a talented chef, are particularly distinguished.
fruitful cooperation
Black Rabbit marks the first collaboration between two famous actors. The series is part of a 2018 deal between Jason Bateman and Netflix through his production company Aggregate Films.
In addition to Ozark, which has since ended and won many awards, the actor notably released the romcom You at home and opposite Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher last year on the platform. Netflix is also streaming the romantic comedy Hit Man, starring Glenn Powell, in select countries. The latter will be released in cinemas in France.
As for Jude Law, this new project could open the door to other Netflix productions, even if the actor limits his presence on streaming platforms…
