Jennifer discovers another side of Samuel

Jennifer and Samuel enjoy a sunny day for a picnic on the beach in Marseille. They have fun imagining the little habits of the people around them and Samuel is unbeatable at this game, Jennifer asks him if he does it often and he replies: “It’s stronger than me.”

On the streets of Mistral, Jennifer asks Samuel to read her mind, and once again, the cop is right. Jennifer begins to wonder if Samuel spends his time analyzing her behavior.

At the medical office, he asks Leah how she manages to live with two police officers: Patrick and Jean-Paul. Leah replies that it’s a matter of habit and not a problem. Jennifer takes the opportunity to explain to him that Samuel is a real profiler and she gets the impression that he is constantly reading her mind.

Jennifer decides to play poker face with the neighbor, but Samuel immediately notices her little game. “There’s nothing you can do, I feel like I’ve had an X-ray”. He promises not to do it again and respects her privacy.

Thomas is in the worst position

With no news of Thomas, Gabriel and Javad head to Mistral. When they arrived, they found Thomas on the ground, completely unconscious. Javad calls the fire department, and Gabriel performs cardiac massage on her husband. Babette also comes to the rescue.

The next day, Barbara resumes her position as chef at Mistral. Very concerned, she asks Javad and Babette for news about Thomas, and they explain that he is on ventilator support and that he may have after-effects in his brain and/or lungs.

Barbara absorbs the guilt. And for good reason, she blames herself for abandoning Thomas when he needed her the most.

Gabriel, on the other hand, is at her husband’s bedside, still in a coma. He also apologizes for not being around enough these past few days and promises to fight alongside him to bring Killian to justice.

Suddenly Toma wakes up and tells her husband that she feels pain in her lungs. Reason ? In Mistral, his lungs were partially burned due to gas poisoning.

Who blames Thomas?

At the hospital, Gabriel asks Thomas if he drank alcohol, because the latter does not remember what happened to him. Also, Gabriel asks her if she needs to see someone because she thinks her husband tried to kill himself. And for good reason, the restaurant’s gas line broke.

Thomas understands that they wanted to kill him, and her husband tears in his hands. A few minutes later, Thomas informs Samuel that he was probably the victim of an assassination attempt. The policeman advises him to file a complaint, so an investigation will begin.

Javadi visits Thomas in the hospital. The two men take the opportunity to tell Gabriel about their little foray into Betty’s mother’s house the day before. Gabriel is angry and says: “You took a huge risk, you stopped it all.” However, Javad refuses to give up everything.

At the same time, at the police station, Jean-Paul and Ariane learn that Thomas was indeed the victim of an attempted murder. Two police officers wonder if the case of the “Stop Feminicide” graffiti on the walls of Mistral is related to what happened yesterday.

Morgan analyzes the CCTV cameras outside the bar-restaurant Le Mistral, on the evening of the tag “Stop femicide”, against all expectations, he discovers that the author of the tag is his little friend: Jules, Betty’s cousin.
