The hit Netflix series, ‘Brigerton’, immerses us in London’s high society, where love affairs and family intrigues are the most common problems. To better understand the history of this aristocratic family, it is best to know their family tree in detail.
He explained the Bridgerton family tree
The Bridgertons are a powerful and ancient English family who have held Bridgerton Viscountcy for nine generations. He is descended from Edmund, 8th Viscount Bridgerton, who married Violet Ledger. Together they had eight children, each with their own unique role in the series.
Anthony Bridgerton
He turns out to be the eldest of the brothers and, due to his father’s death, becomes the leader of the Bridgertons and their rival. His story was already recorded in the 2nd season of the show, where he ends up marrying Kate Sharma after being stuck in a love triangle. Although their children do not yet appear in the series, they are shown to have four: Edmund, Miles, Charlotte and Mary, who inherit their father’s surname.
Benedict Bridgerton
Edmund and Violet’s second son, despite showing no genuine interest in marriage, changes his mind after attending a ball. At this event he meets a young woman who catches his attention despite wearing a mask. This is Sophie Beckett, who has been compared to the Cinderella character because of her tragic backstory.
Although their relationship doesn’t work out right away, they eventually get married and start a family. They have three sons and one daughter: Charles, Alexander, William and Violet.

Bridgerton
In the third season of Netflix’s “Brigerton0,” we will see how the young man who is the object of attention of young women because of his attractiveness ends up falling in love with his best friend, Penelope Featherington, while helping her find a husband.
Following the plot of Julia Quinn’s books, the couple realizes that they cannot live without each other and decide to get married. Years later, they welcome four children: Agatha, Thomas, Jane and George.
Daphne Bridgerton
“The Duke and I” was the book that launched the famous Netflix series in 2020, introducing Daphne Bridgerton, the young woman who entered into a passionate and turbulent romance with Simon Basset, also known as the Duke of Hastings. Although at first they don’t seem to understand each other, Simon struggles internally with his feelings and, after a series of events, accepts the devotion and love he feels for Daphne.
Together they raise five children: Amelia, Belinda, Caroline, Edward and David. The latter appeared in the second season of ‘Brigerton’, sharing moments with his entire family.
Eloise Bridgerton
She is the fifth daughter of the Bridgerton family and is characterized by her staunch opposition to marriage, as well as her rejection of the traditions imposed on women during the Regency era. However, her ideas change drastically when she meets Phillip Crane, who manages to respect her independence instead of trying to control her.
After marrying in 1824, the couple had three children: Penelope Crane, whose name was inspired by her best friend, Georgina Crane, and Frederick Crane.
Francesca Bridgerton
This character who is looking for a husband in the third season of ‘Brigerton’ has a somewhat different story than that of his brothers. Although initially married to John Sterling, she eventually divorces him. In 1824 she married again, this time to Michael Stirling, with whom she had two children: John and Janet.
Gregory Bridgerton II
The second youngest member of the Bridgerton family was just 2 years old when his father died, leaving him in the care of his mother and older siblings. In his love life, Gregory met Lucy Abernathy and began courting her friend and partner, Hermione Watson. However, he fell in love with Lucy while she was “officially” engaged to Lord Hazelby.
Finally, he interrupted the wedding ceremony and declared his undying love for her. Lucy accepted his proposal and they got married. They had nine children and moved to rural England. In fact, it was Bridgerton with the most offspring!
Hyacinth Bridgerton
The young woman never met her father, Edmund, who died of an allergy to a bee sting three weeks before her birth. Despite this loss, she is deeply loved by her mother and older siblings. Its name comes from Edmund’s favorite flower, which symbolizes a new beginning and hope.
When she presents herself to society as a woman ready for marriage, fortune smiles on her, as she marries Gareth, the Baron of St. Clair. Shortly after their marriage, the couple has two children, George and Isabella.
