The Witcher (Netflix) Without Henry Cavill: We finally know what his replacement looks like in costume

We’ll have to wait a little longer for an official photo of Henry Cavill’s replacement, Liam Hemsworth, after the latter’s departure last year. But we can count on social media and some stolen photos from The Witcher Season 4 filming to see the new Geralt of Rivia in action.

And it’s clear that the Witcher costume suits him quite well. The Australian actor on X is also regularly compared to his brother Chris Hemsworth, who lent his muscles to Marvel superhero Thor for 10 years. With his impressive build and long hair, Liam is clearly hitting on all cylinders!

Needless to say, the former Hunger Games actor is working twice as hard to satisfy fans of The Witcher and those who loved Henry Cavill. Needless to say, the latter, an avid gamer and avid reader of Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, campaigned with Netflix to keep the series as faithful to the universe as possible. Enough to create some internal friction that would lead to, one thing and another, the former Superman’s departure.

Liam Hemsworth can already count on the support of his co-stars, including Frea Allen. In a recent interview, Ciri’s translator asked fans to be patient and give them a chance. It remains to be seen how Netflix will explain this artist change.

Season 4 of The Witcher isn’t out yet

As we told you, The Witcher season 4 has just started filming and should last for several months. So we will have to wait until at least 2025 to see the continuation of the adventures of Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer (Anna Chalotra). We already know that two new actors have joined the cast of season 4: Laurence Fishburne, who will play barber surgeon Regis, and Danny Woodburn, who will reprise his features as dwarf warrior Zoltan Chivey.

Netflix recently announced that Season 5 of The Witcher will be its last, but they continue to develop the rest of the universe through spin-off movies and series.
