Just over a year after the Three Musketeers diptych, director Martin Bourbulon returns with 13 Days, 13 Nights.
Adapted from the autobiographical novel by Sardal Mohammad Bida.13 days, 13 nights in the hell of KabulThe story takes place in Kabul on August 15, 2021. As American troops prepare to withdraw, the Taliban storm the capital and seize power. Amid the chaos, Commander Mohamed Bida and his men secure the French Embassy. which is still open, Commander Bida decides to negotiate with the Taliban for a last chance, with the help of a Franco-Afghan translator, then begins a race against time to get the evacuees to the airport. Kabul hell before it’s too late.
Written by Martin Bourboulon and Alexandre Smia (screenwriter Bureau des Légendes) and produced by Dimitri Rassam and Ardavan Safai, who are already working on The Three Musketeers. 13 days, 13 nights Starring Roshdi Zem as the commander, Lina Khudri – who rejoins the director after starring in Constance D’Artagnan et Milady – Sidse Babett Knudsen and Christophe Montez of the Comédie-Française.
Filming has just begun in and around Casablanca, Morocco, and will wrap up on August 2.

A challenge to Roshdi Zem
