As expected, Disney+ revealed this Wednesday (22) that the merger with its branch Star+ will also change the price of the subscription in Brazil. As shown on its platform, streaming will now have two plans: Standard for R$43.90 per month and Premium for R$62.90 per month.
What changes in Disney+ plans:
Disney announced last year the merger of its two streaming services: Disney+, focused on content from Disney, Pixar, etc., and Star+, featuring content from former FOX channels and ESPN sports broadcasts. With this, all Star+ content will be migrated to Disney+.
The study underlined that the new values concern new and old subscribers. “The price will change starting July 26, 2024 (with exceptions) unless you change or cancel your current subscription. Prices may vary for subscriptions charged by partner companies”.
After Netflix, Disney Plus adopted rules against password sharing in April, as announced by the company’s CEO, Bob Iger.
At the time, the director teased that the studio would begin uploading films starting in June in “certain countries and markets,” including Brazil. By September this year, the plan is for the new prices and rules to come into effect globally. See more here!
