Comic book fans are eagerly awaiting the merging of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man universe with that of Venom. In fact, the post-credits scene of Venom: Let there be carnage this possibility has (much) increased. But now new rumors suggest that the symbiote will be the villain in the new neighborhood hero movie.
So far, the plot of the new film is a mystery. Since there are few confirmations, new rumors emerge every day.
Some of the more recent ones point out that Venom should be the villain of the new film. Additionally, Miles Morales may finally be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Also according to the Production List portal, Daredevil and Wilson Fisk, Kingpin could also be present in the film.
It’s important to note that there is no confirmation from Marvel on any of these possibilities. However, it’s no secret that all of these characters are being worked on to join the main Spider-Man universe.
What seems most likely at this point is Venom’s participation.
In the post-credit scene of Venom: Let there be carnage, the symbiote and Eddie Brock are transported to Tom Holland’s universe. There they watch a special bulletin from Clarim Diário. On screen, J. Jonah Jameson (JK Simmons) states that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. After the reveal, Venom just screams “that guy!”giving signs of recognizing his neighborhood friend.
For fans, it all fits together. But we will, in fact, see Venom as one of the protagonists of the next Spider-Man film. Unfortunately we still have to wait.
