After years of the original trilogy with Wesley Snipes, Lama will return to theaters as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). According to famous insider Daniel Ritchman, @DanielRPK, filming is expected to begin between September and December of this year. And Brazil could be one of the film’s settings.

The new MCU film will star Mahershala Ali. Mia Goth is also confirmed in the cast. Yann Demangev will direct and Nic Pizzolatto will be responsible for the screenplay.
Lama It was the first Marvel production to be shut down due to the Hollywood actors’ and screenwriters’ strike. Originally, the film, announced in 2019, was set to hit theaters on September 6 of this year.
Since then there have been several problems, such as budget changes and cuts, and Ali’s starring role has also been called into question.
The last film of the trilogy Lama with Snipes was released in 2002. Previous productions had been directed by Stephen Norrington, Guillermo del Toro and David Goyer respectively and distributed by New Line.
In 2012, the rights to the character, based on Marvel Comics, were returned to Marvel Studios.
