Three years after Cry Macho, the indefatigable Clint Eastwood is back in business! The 93-year-old director filmed his new project, called Juror #2. This is his 40th feature film in his directorial career.
The myth of Eastwood is back!
The Hollywood legend left his mark in cinema, notably winning 4 Oscars (Best Picture and Best Director for Impitoyable and Million Dollar Baby). This time, Eastwood tells the story of a man chosen as a member of the jury in a murder trial.
During the hearing, he realizes that he may be the real killer. Then a difficult dilemma arises for him. Should he plead guilty and uphold the law or use his position to manipulate the other members of the jury and get away with it?
After being halted in June 2023 due to the actors’ and writers’ strike, The Jury #2 resumed filming in Savannah, Georgia in November 2023. Now it has been over since last February. Nicholas Hoult, the DCU’s new Lex Luthor, plays a main character named Justin Camp.
He stars with Toni Collette (the prosecutor), Zoe Deutch (Justin’s wife), J.K. With Simmons, Kiefer Sutherland and Chris Messina (Public Defender). The latter is particularly illustrated in Air by Ben Affleck.
The great Clint Eastwood appeared in rare society at the end of March at an environmental conference organized by his friend Jane Goodall.

When does Juror #2 come out?
At the moment, the release date of maestro Clint Eastwood’s latest opus has not been announced. However, given the speed at which the director shoots and edits his films, we can expect a theatrical release in 2024, or even early 2025.
The filmmaker is still working with Warner Bros. despite Cry Macho’s dismal failure and $16 million worldwide gross. Despite his advanced age, the Hollywood legend is still there and ready to unveil his final project. We’ll have to be a little more patient before we know more.
According to varietyWarner is very happy with the result. American media indicated that post-production on the work had ended. Therefore, the studio should announce the release date very quickly.
