Fabrice Luchini is in the casting of Jean-Philippe, which will be broadcast on W9 this evening. The French actor won the César Award for Best Supporting Actor in this 2006 comedy by Laurent Tuëlle Tout ça… pour ça! In 1994, he plays Fabris, Johnny Hallyday’s unconditional fan.
But one day, Fabrice wakes up in a parallel world where John doesn’t exist. He then sets off in search of Jean-Philippe Smet to find out what happened to him in this other dimension, and when he finally finds him, he discovers the boss of the bowling alley, a guy like the others who never became a star. Fabrice has only one goal: to revive his idol, to awaken the dormant “John” in Jean-Philippe. The film, which also stars Johnny Hallyday and Jackie Berroyer, brought in 1.2 million viewers in French cinemas.

The actor is currently shooting his first film as director of actress Barbara Schulz. The film titled Khufu’s Treasure tells the story of Christian Robinson, an eccentric archaeologist with unconventional methods, who embarks on a Parisian adventure to solve the mystery of Khufu’s treasure. He takes his daughter Isis and his grandson Julien with him regardless. This quest also becomes the story of their reconciliation.

The 72-year-old actor is also waiting on the set of Natacha, almost like a flight attendant. A film adaptation of the cult comic book “Natacha the Flight Attendant” Directed by Noémie Saglio (Plan coeur, Parents d’école).
Actress Camille Lou, known for her roles in Les Bracelets rouge, Je te premt, Le Bazar de la charité and Les Combattantes, will play the heroine. Fabrice Luchin, Didier Bourdon, Vincent Dedien, Elsa Zilberstein, Isabelle Ajan and Baptiste Lechaplain are playing around him in as yet unknown roles.
Filming on Natacha has just begun and is taking place in the Paris region, northern France, the Cote d’Azur and Italy. The release date has not been announced yet.
