The documentary Doleira: The Story of Nelma Kodamawhich tells the story of the first woman arrested in Operation Lava Jato, an investigation against corruption launched in 2014 by the Federal Public Ministry of Paraná, premieres on Netflix this Thursday, June 6th.
The novelty tells the story of Nelma Kodamaa former dentist from the interior of São Paulo, who transformed a life full of challenges into a soap opera plot, involving love, sex, betrayal and millions in illegal money.
Persuasive, Nelma was responsible for making large amounts of cash available for bribes in Brasília until she was arrested – and gained national visibility – when she tried to board with 200 thousand euros hidden in her clothes.
