One day, this woman goes to the hospital to read to little children and becomes enchanted by one of the nurses, who has no interest in her. Ko Moon-young (Seo Ye-ji) is a woman full of trauma and a dark past. To escape her recurring nightmares, she writes and illustrates children’s stories that take place in a playful universe. Despite the audience she is targeting, the stories have a scarier feel and deal with very sensitive topics, which made her stand out in the South Korean publishing market.

Moon Gang-tae (Kim So-hyun) is a psychiatric nurse and does everything she can to improve the life of her brother, who has autism and is very traumatized after witnessing his mother’s murder.

When Gang-tae establishes himself as a psychiatric assistant at a new hospital, he meets writer Moon-young. Soon the girl develops a romantic obsession with the boy and is determined to get to know him better and win him over.

The drama has a very strong approach to discussing topics such as death, mental disorders and emotional trauma, which directly connects the main couple. They both carry the scars of bad times and the development of their relationship will contribute to their healing process, so that they can finally heal all the pain of their past.
