Terminal List: You’ll Never Guess Where Chris Pratt’s War Series Was Filmed!

Last Friday, the Amazon Prime Video platform presented its brand new original production! Directed by Chris Pratt, The Terminal List is an action series adapted from Jack Carr’s bestsellers (unpublished in France) that follows the adventures of a Marine, the sole survivor of his team, who soon becomes the target of a powerful and mysterious organization.

The plot of the series, littered with many flashbacks, takes us through the hazy memories of Private Rhys (Chris Pratt), whose memory has been greatly affected by a head injury sustained during an attack that wiped out his entire Marine team. Thus, in Syria, and in particular in the city of Olep, many scenes are unfolding.

However, the filming of the series took place entirely on American soil and more specifically in California. Information confirmed by series creator David DiGiglio in an exclusive interview he gave us when he came to the recent Monte Carlo festival to preview the series of events:

We are very proud to be able to film The Terminal List in Los Angeles. Filming abroad is difficult, with actors and crew being away from their families for long periods of time. And for this series, we were lucky because Amazon and MRC Studio supported us in our desire to film the entire series in Los Angeles. And then we used different processes, whether it was through studio sets or special effects, to make it look like we were in different places in the United States and around the world.

Thus, it was from Hollywood studios that the Syrian (but also Mexican) scenery was recreated, saving time – but also money – that can be used again if the second season of The Terminal List comes. to see the light. of the day (which presumably covers several parts of Jack Carr’s literary saga).

The Terminal List series with Chris Pratt, now available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
