Warning, spoilers. The following paragraphs show plot elements from The Bridgerton Chronicles season 3 and novels. Bridgerton.
Starting June 13, Netflix subscribers can finally watch Season 3 of The Bridgerton Chronicles, which was split into two parts. This season, which centers on the relationship of one of the favorite couples of readers of the Julia Quinn novels on which the series is based, is a real hit.
The romance between Penelope Fetherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), who go from best friends to lovers despite many obstacles – such as Penelope’s dual identity as Lady Whistledown – has won over fans of the series.

While Season 3 of Bridgerton is being watched, analyzed and commented on immensely, fans of the series are already watching Season 4 of the Netflix series, which has already been ordered and written. The community begins to develop theories about which Bridgerton will be at the center of future episodes.
What were the first clues?
You should know that the Netflix series did not follow the order of the novels in Julia Quinn’s literary series. If the first two seasons are focused on Daphne (Phoebe Dinevor), then Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), as in the books, the third season is focused on Colin, and the third book tells about Benedict (Luke Thompson).
It makes sense that the writers and producer Shonda Rhimes would want to continue the series with a third Benedict novel for chronological consistency. But they could also directly follow the next book focusing on Eloise (Claudia Jessie), even though that means Benedict’s story will have to wait another year.
A character stagnating in Season 3, despite new romantic experiences and discovering a different sexuality, wouldn’t be fair to push her aside for another season.
And some fans thought they caught a glimpse of Season 4 during a promotional tour for Season 3 by the show’s stars.
And this was especially true of Luke Newton’s statement in the interview A man of beauty In which he seemingly revealed that Benedict would indeed be the hero of Bridgerton’s next season:
“I love Benedict’s script this season, he’s very free and I think he has a good place on set. He’s a free spirit and kind of a rebel. I’m looking forward to Benedict’s story next season.”
But the third season of the Netflix series highlighted other members of the siblings, such as Eloisa’s troubled friendship with Penelope and Francesca (Hannah Dodd), who was named the season’s “diamond” and found her husband, Lord John Stirling (Victor). Ali), Earl of Kilmartin.
So, which Bridgerton season 4 will it be?
Showrunner Jess Brownell dropped some important information ahead of Bridgerton’s Season 3 premiere. TV InsiderNamely, that fans had to watch the last episode to find out the identity of the hero or heroine of the next season:
“I think at the end of season three there are hints of where we’re going. So yeah, I’ll leave that up to the fans, but I think we’re inadvertently revealing our plans a little bit.”
So what does the final episode of Bridgerton season 3 reveal? It’s safe to say that the final chapter of this third season is full of twists and turns for the Bridgertons, who have the potential to be the main characters of season four. Three characters stand out: Benedict, Eloisa and Francesca.

On the one hand, we have Eloise, who has become good friends with Penelope again, but above all, she is determined to find herself, like her brother Colin, by traveling to Europe, accompanied by her sister Francesca in Scotland. But this new beginning seems scarce when we know the content of his story in the novel dedicated to him.
However, the Eloise-centric novel is a direct successor to the Colin-centric novel. And after her friend Penelope, Eloise could also succumb to the sirens of love. Because in the books, Eloise marries Sir Philip Crane, who was previously married to Marina, who died tragically. We saw these characters in the first two seasons.

For Francesca, the plot about her in the novel begins after John Sterling introduces her to Michaela Sterling (Masali Baduzza), her cousin. Anyone who has read the novels will know that this is the female version of Michael Sterling, the male protagonist in the books.
This character is primarily Francesca’s new lover after the tragic death of John Sterling. This change in the series suggests that Francesca may have discovered her bisexuality or homosexuality due to her attraction to Michaela, implied by her worried look at Michaela and her questioning of him after kissing John at the wedding.
The fourth season of Benedict is here! Between the mention of the masquerade ball, his conversation with Eloise on the swing, and the voice looking into the future, with only her in the shot… Sophie arrives! #Bridgerton

“Benedict season 4 we come to the mention of the masked ball, his conversation with Eloi on the swing, and the plan to see the future… Sophie is coming!
But it is on Benedict’s side that the clues are more convincing. Indeed, the other Bridgerton sibling has a long discussion with Eloise about his future. “I feel like the next thing I learn could change me completely”, tells him. Later, before leaving, Eloise promises him that they will meet again for a masquerade ball organized by their mother Violet.
And it is because of this event that Benedict meets Sophie Beckett, his future wife, in a novel dedicated to her. “I’ll be there, hiding behind the mask, avoiding suitors like the plague”told him.
And after they say their goodbyes, Benedict is cut to a close-up with Lady Whistledown’s voice announcing that“It’s time to look to the future and what it will bring”.
Therefore, these hints suggest that Benedict will indeed be the Bridgerton that the fourth season of the series will focus on. But so far, neither Netflix nor showrunner Jess Brownell has confirmed this hypothesis, which is shared by many fans and netizens.
We’ll have to wait for an official announcement to confirm this theory or we’ll be in for some surprises as Eloise and Francesca are still in the running.
Season 3 of “The Bridgerton Chronicles” is available on Netflix.
