Attention fans Yellowstone! The premiere date for the second half of the fifth (and final) season of the series has been revealed. The new episodes will air in Brazil on November 11 on Paramount+ and will not feature Kevin Costner, who played the protagonist John Dutton.
The first part of the fifth season ended in January 2023. This long break was due to Costner’s exit from the production, which forced the series to be reformulated.
The change in protagonist came shortly after Paramount announced the decision to split the fifth season into two parts. This ended up causing a scheduling conflict with the actor, who was already committed to filming Horizon: An American Saga.
One of the options studied was to give more prominence to Josh Lucas, who plays the younger version of John Dutton. In March of this year he announced that the second part of the fifth season could even be extended to 10 episodes, on which creator Taylor Sheridan would work.
However, so far Paramount has not shared details about what path the plot will follow in its finale. In Brazil, the five seasons are available on Paramount+, while the first three can also be seen by Netflix subscribers.
