It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Episodes 956 and 957 of Friday, June 28, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Friday, June 28, it all starts here…

Maya knows what she’s going to do this summer

After spending the night together, Maya and Malik wake up in each other’s arms. The newlyweds are happily swimming on this first day of the school holidays. As they prepare to set the table again, Leonard knocks on the door to bring a croissant. Maya greets him and explains to her lover that this is a ritual between them every morning. Malik takes it. Leonard is happy to finally see them together, even if they are now expelled from the Institute’s singles club. Leonard also admits he is out because he broke the club’s second rule due to his ongoing affair with Nolan.

Later, all the students gather in the amphitheater for the graduation ceremony. Antoine, Hortense, and Leroy congratulate everyone, then send Teissier a private message. Afterwards, students celebrate their success and make plans for their future. Jasmine is determined to try out for the Masters competition, as is Tom. As for Kelly, she is beautiful and ready to go with Dinar. Laetitia personally comes to greet her. Mother and daughter are very excited about how far they have come. Kelly expresses deep gratitude to her mother.

Students then gather in Double A for the traditional end-of-the-year cocktail party. Antoine takes the opportunity to toast Soleimani, who is this year’s valedictorian, and congratulate him. Penelope joins them in toasting. Antoine then informs them that their cruise plan is compromised because he doesn’t want to leave Leroy alone in charge of the institute all summer. Behind his back, Penelope and Suleiman confess that they are relieved not to go on the cruise.

Maya and Malik are both isolated in the hallway to kiss. The young man is very happy to be able to spend the summer with her. However, Maya admits that she does not plan to take a two-month hiatus without interruption. At the same time, she receives a message from Quentin and remembers that she planned to find him.

He goes to Leroy’s, where his brother tells him he’s going to spend the summer in London. He explains that one of his colleagues from Japan asked him to be second in a French gourmet restaurant he had just opened in the English capital. For Quentin, it is also a good way to prepare for the institute exam. Maya is a bit disappointed because she was hoping to spend time with her brother this summer. Then the latter reveals to him that his colleague also has a place in his brigade. Maya does not hide her enthusiasm…

The next day, Maya meets Malik at a local cafe to share her dilemma. Finally, when her boyfriend admits that he doesn’t want to be away from her for two months, Maya decides to stay with him at Calvier. However, he stipulates that they do not spend the entire vacation outside. Malik is delighted.

The pair meet Vic and Leonard at the amphitheater to tell them their decision. Leonard then suggested that they all join Hortense’s Special Events Brigade. Only Vicky refuses. Malik is horrified and recalls the story of the false declaration of love that Maya wrote to the chef while pretending to be him. The young girl promises to fulfill it.

So he goes to the atelier where Hortense and Mehdi cook together to explain the truth. Hortense thanks him for his honesty and forgives him. After a few minutes of thought, Hortense agrees to integrate Leonard, Malik, and Maya into her brigade. Mehdi reminds them of the rules to follow in order to make things run smoothly: Be professional and avoid working on personal matters.

Maya and Malik then go to Leroy’s, where Quentin is packing his suitcase for London. He takes the opportunity to give Maya a photo album that belonged to their parents. A young girl opens it and looks at some photos, very upset.

David leaves the institute

Meeting David in the hallway, Stanislas takes the opportunity to congratulate him on his good exam results. However, the young man admits he was disappointed as he had struck a deal with Real Madrid’s recruiter to be the club’s boss for the rest of the season if he was valedictorian. Stanislas sympathizes, he is sure that the young man will have other equally interesting opportunities.

In the kitchen, David prepares a meal with Anais. She realizes that she does not dare to answer the employer’s calls, for fear of telling the truth about the exam results. She believes there is still time to negotiate and forces him to call her back. David follows her advice and the conversation with the recruiter takes an unexpected turn. After hanging up, David announces that he has officially been chosen as the new manager of Madrid FC! And this, thanks to Du Chesnay, who put forward his candidacy.

A little later, running into Stanislaus with Hippolytus, David calls out to him to thank him for the gesture. He realizes that it was not Stanislas who intervened on his behalf, but his father. Hippolytus states that he is not trying to buy her forgiveness, but is only trying to improve himself, which is correct. Indeed, according to him, David has talent, will and merit. The latter was affected.

The next day, Lionel, Solal and Anais congratulate David on a successful last day at the institute. The latter hopes that his friends have organized a going away party worthy of the name. Lionel and Solal volunteer to organize and Anais volunteers to cook.

A little later, David finds Anais in the kitchen, where she is preparing the tapas he requested. A young woman pushes him to prove what he really feels as his departure approaches. David admits that he is sad. He knows he loves Spain and his new job, but he also knows he misses the institute and his friends. He thanks Anais for everything she has done for him, considering her to be his best friend. Anais declares that it’s mutual and promises to come see him at the first opportunity.

At the end of the day, Anais, Lionel, Solal, Enzo, Billy, Tom and many other students gather for David’s farewell party. They wonder where the latter went until they hear his voice over the speakers. In fact, David recorded a voice message for them explaining that he wouldn’t come for fear of starting to cry. He declares that he will never forget them, and then encourages them to celebrate in his honor.

While everyone raises a glass to his name, David prepares to leave the institute. He meets Chef Leroy, who encourages him to go and pursue his dream. David hugs her, then starts to leave. At least he gets a good dose of love through videos sent by his friends telling him they love him.

A whirlwind start to the holidays for Rose and Carla!

At the park, Berenice surprises Carla, who is looking for a vacation plan. He’s still stubborn and refuses to go to Paul Garnier’s villa when he’s just trying to get Rose into bed. Berenice suspects more that she is jealous of her lover, that she has to share with her mother. Either way, he declares that he will go to the villa, with or without Carla. After some reflection, the latter informs Rose, Constance and Berenice that he has changed his mind and that he is going to come with them. Recognizing Paul’s reluctance, Rose assures him that their vacation will be perfect.

Later, at Double A’s year-end cocktail party, Carla and Berenice show photos of Paul’s villa to Penelope, Suleiman and Jasmine. Everyone envies them. Indeed, Penelope and Suleiman will find themselves without summer plans, while Jasmine will spend the month of July with Jim at Calvier, while her son will be on vacation with Greg and Elliott.

At the end of the day, Carla arranges a meeting for Penelope, Suleiman and Jasmine at the boarding house. He joins them and makes them believe that Rose has offered to come with them to Paul’s villa. Everyone is excited. Carla even allows Jasmine to visit Jim. As she leaves the house, Carla receives a text from her mother, who expresses her happiness that everything is fixed. Carla responds with a voicemail confirming that she wants to spend the vacation as a foursome…

The next day, Rose, Constance, Carla and Berenice arrive at Paul Garnier’s villa. The latter welcomes them warmly. Only Carla makes no effort to be polite. As soon as he finds himself alone, he calls Suleiman to find out when his friends are going to arrive.

Paul takes care of seeing the guests around the house, then they introduce them to their stewards, Sandrine and Jerome, as well as their daughter Cleo, who takes care of the meals. If Carla always finds a reason to criticize, Berenia is delighted.

Then Paul prepares an aperitif around the swimming pool. Just then, Suleiman, Penelope, Jasmine and Jimmy arrive and give Rose a bottle of champagne to thank her for the invitation.

The latter immediately realizes that Karla is behind all this. He takes her aside to confront her and accuses her of inviting his friends over for her. Carla replies that she didn’t even consult her mother when she suddenly decided to rest at Paul’s house. Rose then returns to Penelope, Suleiman, Jasmine and Jim to explain to them that she cannot have them. But Paul intervenes to joyfully invite them to stay.

A little later, Rose returns to see Carla to find out the origin of the problem. She realizes that her daughter is jealous of Paul, even if she doesn’t want to admit it. Rose then states that she likes him no matter what she thinks. Carla, for her part, admits that he does not inspire her with confidence. But after she saves her friends’ vacation, Rose forces her daughter to go see her to apologize and thank her.

Meanwhile, Paul is in his office. He looks out the window, then pulls a pistol from his briefcase… is Carla right to suspect him?
